The Dutch Swing College Band presents Ministry of Jazz, an evening full of authentic jazz featuring international guests: trumpeter Leroy Jones and percussionist Adonis Rose from the United States, clarinetist Eiji Hanaoka from Japan, and alto saxophonist Pathorn Srikaranonda from Thailand. For 77 years, the Dutch Swing College Band has been on the forefront of classic jazz in Europe. Ministry of Jazz proves that this traditional approach has kept on developing internationally.

Leroy Jones and Adonis Rose are from New Orleans, the birthplace of classic jazz. They were trained by musicians who have a direct link to the roots of this authentic style of playing. Eiji Hanaoka is a prime example of classic jazz in Japan, with his virtuoso style and intellectual approach. Pathorn Srikaranonda has shared the stage with the Dutch Swing College Band before in his native Thailand. For years he has performed in the band of the Thai king Bhumibol Adulyadej, and he has introduced the use of Thai instruments in classic jazz.
