We are Jana Kütt, Tobias Tammearu and Robert Rebane, and together we form See Pole See Trio - the recycling of Estonian 60s hits in fresh multi-layered textiles.
In the summer of 2021, a trio was formed for the Tallinn '67 concert series of the Estonian Jazz Union, whose input was Estonian hits of the 60s such as "Pistoda laul", "Kaks kuukiirt", "See pole see" etc. Fortunately, it did not remain a one-time project, but rather the See Pole See Trio developed, which during its short period of activity has given a number of concerts all over Estonia!
The charm of the trio lies in the combination of songs from the 1960s and modern improvisational music. Nordic aesthetics and direct expression through improvisation play an important role. Jana, Tobias and Robert are connected by a curiosity for teamwork, the unexpected and also intimacy. Music on vinyl is for everyone: a nostalgic moment for listeners who grew up listening to pop classics, and an exciting journey of discovery for those who are fascinated by live electronics and modern sound language. The album features the songs of Valter Ojakääru, Arne Oidi and Uno Naissoo, the authors of legendary Estonian popular songs, including "Pistoda laul", "See pole see" and others.
