Pianist Georges Granville traces his “Perspectives” with a palette of eleven rhythmic and colorful titles. A former student of the Bill Evans Piano Academy, he handles the musical verb with confidence. Very delicately, he uses this phrasing in rhythm, melody and harmony. And if "Perspectives" recalls its influences (we can easily perceive Lyle Mays, Avishai Cohen, Chick Corea ...), the playing of this trio is not lacking in audacity.
