Choiva - Guru's Girlfriend (2019)

Marieke Snijders (singer and pianist) and Wieke Garcia (singer, harpist and percussionist) together form CHOIVA: a multi-instrumental duo. At the end of 2017, lived through the hectic pace of the day, the desire for peace and quiet grows, as does the desire to take musical ideas to a higher level. Improvising from a single idea, these sessions grow into 5 compositions, which was released in 2019 on our self-produced and financed EP "Guru's Girlfriend.

Our mission is to give the listener a musical and energetic boost with a unique and surprising sound. As was written in a review: "You are completely in the here and now while listening, where you are never bored. This is due to the quality of the music, which is clearly made with love, dedication and craftsmanship and therefore sounds very authentic.
