Deleyaman - The Sudbury Inn (2023)

It's been three and a half years since Deleyaman spoiled us since their last album called Sentinel. The Franco-American group has not been idle during this period of course, but it does not prevent them from signing their big comeback with their new album entitled The Sudbury Inn.

Here come eleven intense, cinematic new titles where Deleyaman continues to cast a spell over us. Kicking off with a bewitching "Spring Song", Béatrice Valantin's voluptuous timbre continues to gain momentum as the band draws its inspiration from "Tales Of A Wayside Inn" by American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in particular through enveloping titles like “A Tale” and “Yellow”.

And we are not at the end of our surprises because the cinematographic and hushed rock of Deleyaman takes its rise with other sumptuous compositions such as "Another Evening" and "The Late Hour". The duo bewitches and captivates as it sees fit with "Moment Of Peace" and "Gold Is Fading Into Grey" which reach the peak of their creativity with also a dizzying conclusion called "Silent Ship". With The Sunbury Inn, Deleyaman signs a convincing return with an intense and oh so poetic record.
