Pahua - Habita (2023)

Pahua is Paulina Sotomayor, Mexican percussionist, singer, composer and DJ whose trajectory ranges from the traditional folk music of her country to trends in global Latin rhythms fused with electronic music.

Forged in pandemic in 2020, Pahua is her solo project, a mix of electronic music with Latin rhythms, empowering lyrics and a message of positivity and self-love with which Paulina consolidates her presence in the global music industry.

With four EPs, Ofrenda, Ofrenda Remixes, La Cura and Amuleto, released by Nacional Records, Pahua has quickly positioned herself as a Mexican pioneer of alternative electronic folk music. In 2023, Pahua will release her first album, Habita, which includes collaborations with artists from Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Costa Rica and Venezuela. This LP was produced by herself and Tico producer and DJ Barzo, and will be the key element to consolidate her career.
