Jahmal Padmore - One (2023) [Hi-Res]

Toronto-based musician Jahmal Padmore is set to release his new EP, "One," on Telephone Explosion Records. Produced by Dan Only at Studio NDG208 and mixed by Dave Plowman, the EP showcases Padmore's exceptional songwriting skill, featuring soulful and R&B-inspired tracks that seamlessly blend many genres he's explored over the years.
With a focus on crafting great songs, Padmore delivers a collection of tracks that are both simple and dense, creating sonic landscapes that beautifully showcase his musical growth.

Using vintage synths such as the Jupiter-6, Roland 808 and Rhythm King, as well as his Stratocaster through an overdriven AC30 and rich modulation effects, the resulting sound is a unique blend of traditional and contemporary influences.

"One" also features guest vocals from Brendan Philip and Jozem, two songwriters who have been instrumental in Padmore's career thus far. Their contributions help elevate the already impressive project to new heights, making "One" a must-listen for fans of R&B, soul, and gospel music.
