Samyog Regmi - Unpopular Opinion (2023) [Hi-Res]

Samyog Regmi, born and raised in Kathmandu, on his debut album Unpopular Opinion delivers meticulously crafted compositions that conjure specific landscapes and imagery for the listener. His band is named the Alpa Orchestra, an eclectic mix of talented musicians from six different nationalities. United by their love for improvised music and their studies at the Amsterdam Conservatory. Samyog studied with guitarists Jesse van Ruller and Reinier Baas. The band's sound is melodic, soulful, and ambient.
