On July 15th the new work of the Turin pianist Emanuele Francesconi will be released Four Pictures for a destruction Vol.2 (DDE Records).
Second album dedicated to the twelve-tone and free jazz music of the pianist Emanuele Francesconi, after the first release in duo with the drummer Riccardo Lombardo.
The project is dedicated to the symphonic poem, the first free musical form and therefore also the first forerunner of creative and serial music.
The title is also an explicit reference to "Pictures at an exhibition" by Musorgsky orchestrated by Maurice Ravel. The concert is divided into four parts, in fact, each acted to recreate a precise emotional and psychological sensation.
For this production Francesconi makes use of a real "All stars Orchestra", given the prestige obtained in the free jazz-dodecaphonic field by his collaborators, without exception, both nationally and internationally.
The recording session in fact took place in extreme fluidity and in a single day.
