Since its foundation in 1975 the Moyzes Quartet has become one of the most popular ensembles in the sphere of chamber music in Slovakia. Its members are the graduates of the Academy of Music in Bratislava. Professors A. Vrtel, T. Gasparek (Bratislava) and F. Samohyl and G. Pichler (Vienna) had contributed to the profile and artistic level of the quartet.
