Jeremy Rose's Project Infinity Live at Phoenix Central Par featuring Novak Manoljovic (piano/keyboards) Tully Ryan (drums) and Ben Carey (modular synthesiser) with a set of spontaneous music - an improvised set exploring the infinite possibilities of music expression with zero gravity.

Assembled for a special event at Phoenix Central Park Performance Space in April 2021, this all-star group had immediate chemistry. Intent on exploring the post-jazz post-everything sound world they create an exciting fresh perspective to music from torchbearers such as The Necks and Tangents drawing upon elements of hip-hop abstract soundscapes and avant-garde jazz.

“Improvisation is all about creating dialogue with the musicians in the room as well as a dialogue with one's own ideas” says Rose. "We have infinite musical choices in any particular moment — to repeat, to change, to respond. To let one’s self go and be totally in the moment can feel like you’re free falling - free falling towards infinity.”

Rose is at the forefront of an exciting wave of Australian jazz and adventurous music. He has performed throughout Australia, Europe and the UK. His collaboration with drummers Simon Barker, Chloe Kim, Disruption: The Voice of Drums premiered at the 2021 Sydney Festival to wide acclaim. As founder of the record label Earshift Music, Rose has fostered a community of creative musicians throughout Australasia which NYC Jazz Records describes as “representing the future of Australian music... hell bent on pushing the very definition of jazz."
