Type Two Error formed from the ashes of the notorious British collective The Cooper Temple Clause with front man Benedict Gautrey reuniting with Kieran Mahon. Their debut is an emotional, heavyweight rock album full of technical innovation and imagination yet with nothing to prove. The band fuse hard rock and electronics to create dark atmospherics, with a skill only matched by Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode: blizzards of feedback and rave drums are set against metal riffs and moving, lyrical pleas from the heart. Gautrey casts his eye over modern politics in the era when our trust in the people leading us finally collapsed.
