Tri Nguyen - Winds of Home (2020)

Released February 2020 – Fourth album from the virtuoso Vietnamese musician and dan tranh player Tri Nguyen. Recorded with other Vietnamese musicians, Tri describes this album as the story of his homeland, Vietnam, his childhood, songs his mother taught him, that he has re-created, re-structured and re-invented. The other musicians include violinist Son Mach, who receives top billing as co-writer of the music, plus guitar, double bass and percussion. All the tracks are filled with the passion and love of this special musician.
