Quavo - Rocket Power (2023) Hi-Res

Nearly 10 months after the tragedy, Quavo pays tribute in the biggest way with his sophomore solo album Rocket Power. It runs 18 tracks and features Takeoff himself as well as Young Thug, Future, Hunxho, and Baby Drill. Producers include DJ Durel, Wheezy, Murda Beatz, BNYX, Buddah Bless, and Pooh Beatz, among others.

The effort arrives just days following Quavo's performance of “Who Wit Me” during the Atlanta Braves-New York Yankees game at ATL’s Truist Park. “Tell 'em switch up the remedy, my nephew/My nephew was innocent,” Quavo raps on the single.

Takeoff’s voice comes in at the end of album-opener “Fueled Up,” repeating, “Do this shit for the fam, ‘cause this shit bigger than me.” That flows into “Patty Cake,” opening with a characteristically stunning Take verse. That’s not the end of his work on the track, as he goes back and forth with Quavo. The Future-featuring “Back Where It Begins" includes more Takeoff.
