Michael Barratt, better known by the stage name Shakin Stevens (English Shakin' Stevens) is a British (Welsh) singer and composer who achieved the greatest popularity in the 80s of the XX century.
Shakin' Stevens & The Sunsets is a rock and roll revivalist band from Cardiff (Wales), formed in 1969. The main attention of the audience was attracted by a cute soloist, similar to Elvis – Michael Barratt, who performed under the stage name Shakin’ Stevens. The band toured extensively and recorded a number of albums (the first was released in 1970), but at the end of 1977 Stevens left the band and began a solo career. This career proved to be extremely successful in the 80s of the 20th century.
