The opening song is aimed at Theodore Kadzinsky, and the second song is more political: It refuses to kill anybody, for any reason. 'My Little Secret' is about a girl to young to be seen in public with, and 'Spider' is a shattered avant guard rock ode to someone who has died. Then you get a bunch of songs about sex and money before we close out with the Appocaliptic broken mirror of 'Diggin' In The Ashes'. Then, one more song about sex and money. Blues is old. Satire on the edge of melodic and lyric conciousness, is new. We get both here. This is the 5th CD by Mr. Holmes in the last 10 years. The voice and the writing are still slammin'.
