Tarantula was a California-based psychedelic rock band formed in 1968. They released a self-titled album on A&M in 1969, produced by Chad Stuart of Chad & Jeremy. Oz Bach was ex-Spanky and Our Gang. The album is usually described as having a jazzy, Zappa-inspired feel.
