Cocker's entire range of vocal expression - from his fragile whisper to his desperate scream - comes across with breathtaking urgency. The album features musical assistance from Eric Clapton, Steve Gadd, Patti Austin, Deniece Williams, Bonnie Bramlett, Richard Tee, Albert Lee and many others.
