Piano Sonata in A-flat major, Hob.XVI:46, believed to have been composed between 1767–70, Piano Sonata in D major, Hob. It contains four works composed at different times: major, Hob.XVI:48, and Piano Sonata in E-flat Major, Hob.XVI:52, composed in 1794. In particular, Sonata No. 52, the last composition, is considered the best among all Haydn's piano sonatas. It is the largest in scale among Haydn's piano sonatas, and its unusual variety and splendor are its highlights.
