Jaakko Metsäpelto is a Finnish composer and musician, whose music has ranged from hard rock to film scores. After spending a decade in the world of rock music, touring internationally and having co-written an album that was praised by Rolling Stone Magazine, he has since gone on to scoring short films and writing music for other forms of visual media.

One of his most recent and notable works is the score for a high profile Finnish TV series Siltsu (written & directed by Minna Dufton), due out in September 2023.
