With a wide and varied musical style, Marks music takes you on a journey through emotive delicate songs to punchy percussive guitar riffs.
Using modern fingerstyle guitar techniques to create a sound that evokes intimate uplifting feelings with heart felt lyrics, often inspired by personal experiences and the natural environment. Taking influences from musicians such as John Butler, Xavier Rudd, Ben Howard, and Fink to name just a few.
After several radio plays on BBC introducing, and being tipped off as being “one to watch” from Matt Tancock, Mark’s new album titled ‘Roots & Wings’ was released in September 2023.
Mark first started playing guitar at the age of 12 while growing up on the coast of Lincolnshire, England. He then went onto to study music full time where he discovered the late Eric Roche, who inspired him to perform fingerstyle acoustic guitar.
Now based in Bude, Cornwall where he lives with his wife and three children, Mark regularly performs solo acoustic gigs throughout the South West.
