A complete recording of the Brandenburg Concerto featuring the principal players of the Berliner Philharmoniker as soloists. At a time when the period approach was beginning to become a hot topic, the performance of Bach with modern instruments was intentionally emphasized, and it is interesting for Karajan as a recording with a somewhat small orchestra. This year marks the 300th anniversary of the Brandenburg Concerto. In the anniversary year, the long-awaited first SA-CD release was realized.
