A handful of leading country music stars set the mood for the screen adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel The Best of Me, which stars James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan as Dawson and Amanda, high school sweethearts who are reunited after two decades and discover that they still have feelings for one another, even though current circumstances make it difficult for them to be together. The soundtrack album for The Best of Me includes a new song from Lady Antebellum, "I Did with You," which became the first single released from the album.
