Samuel Fische is an Australian pop rock singer-songwriter and musician. Fischer released music independently before signing with RCA Records in 2019. RCA re-released his debut EP Not a Hobby in January 2020.

I Love You, Please Don't Hate Me is the debut studio album by Australian singer Sam Fischer. It was announced in March 2023 and scheduled for release on 1 December 2023. In an interview with For Your Consideration in June 2023, Fischer said "I'm so excited for this album to come out. It's an exploration of the relationship that I have with myself, and the way that things have gone over the last four years" adding "it feels like I've spent a lifetime writing it".
