Saori Yano made a shocking debut in the jazz world as a female saxophonist at the tender age of 16. This is her 2nd album, and she is the first high school player of this century to record it in her native New York. Engineer Dan Garrett, who previously won a Grammy Award for working on Joe Jackson's albums, was appointed as engineer. The Harold Mabern Trio, a popular NY piano trio that participated in four songs in the previous album "Yano Saori", will welcome Saori Yano in their home base of NY and provide full-fledged support for the entire album.
