'black ink on white sheet's is the debut LP release of Germany indie-blues band 'Minor Cabinet'. The 12 track album is an ambitious, creative, musically rich and personal album, encompassing elements of roots based, blues music interweaved with elements of modern indie rock – big songs, catchy choruses, driving rhythms. Tipping its hat to the grooves of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, 'black ink on white sheets' creates the ambience of a Kings of Leon combined with the John Mayer-esque singer-songwriter songscapes and piledrives through crunching blues-rock anthems.

The 5 piece band from Krefeld/Bochum are an exciting, talented group of musicians that formed back in 2012. Following a number of high profile performances the band decided to record their first full album in late 2014 in the Duisburg recording studio ‘Tresorfabrik’, in doing so catching the attention of studio co-owner and record label owner Kris Pohlmann. Black Penny Records and Minor Cabinet agreed an exclusive, long term, world wide deal.
