Releasing his whopping eighth overall greatest-hits package, culled from only nine proper albums, and the fourth since his 2002 patriotic anthem "Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly" crossed over into the pop charts, Aaron Tippin could be accused of a little overkill on Now & Then. Still, nobody does working-class Southern rock-inflected country better and with more authenticity than Tippin, and Now & Then includes many of the hits from his formidable catalog, like "Working Man's PHD" and "The Call of the Wild."
