Dead & Company is an American jam band consisting of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir (guitar), Mickey Hart (drums), and Bill Kreutzmann (drums), along with John Mayer (guitar), Oteil Burbridge (bass/drums), and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards). The band has continued the strong live tradition of the Grateful Dead, creating unforgettable experiences at their shows, no two performances being alike.

The band has released no studio recordings, but all of their concerts to date have been (or are being) released as albums. These 2023 recordings hold a special place as shows on the band's purported Final Tour!

For these shows, the band announced Kreutzmann would not be performing or touring due to a "shift in creative direction", with Jay Lane replacing him in the lineup. The band has left the door open for future Dead & Company shows, explaining, “It’s not final anything. We never said we’ll never play again, but we’ll never tour again.”
