Even at that Relatively Early Stage, Fairport were on to at Least their Seventh Incarnation, Having Already Shed Every Single Founder Member as Well as their Three Recognised Vocalists in Judy Dyble, Ian Matthews and Sandy Denny. More Than Three Decades Later, the Fairport Family Has Grown to Such a Labyrinthine Extent that it Takes an Annual Festival, the Fabled Cropredy, to Assemble the Entire Clan and their Various Friends and Associates in One Place. Intended as a Sideways Look at the Scope and Influence of the Leading British Folk Rock Band, this Tribute to a Veritable Institution Brings Together Various Non-fairport Performances from Some of the Key Figures in the Bands Illustrious History.
