Recording of the concert by the pianist and composer Enrico Pieranunzi's trio on January 9, 1991 at the Teatro Comunale in Castelnuovo Berardenga (Siena). The album initially released in limited copies in 1994 for the types of Siena Jazz Records, with the title "Live in Castelnuovo”, is made available to the public as a CD attached to the March 2023 issue of Musica Jazz magazine with the title "Suite for Siena. Live 1991”

Enrico Pieranunzi in the early nineties frequented the Siena area on several occasions where the founder of Foundation, Franco Caroni, usually organizes numerous concerts in the city's clubs and theatres. In one of these, the Roman pianist performed with his trio, on January 9, 1991, at the Municipal Theater of Castelnuovo Barardenga, a few kilometers from the Tuscan city. Accompanying him are the double bass player Enzo Pietropaoli, a member of the Space Jazz Trio, and a young pupil of the pianist, the drummer Francesco Petreni.
