Voigtmann - Life Miles (2024)

Well-travelled producer Claus Voigtmann delivers the follow-up to his 2018's debut album. Inspired by his busy touring schedule, Life Miles is for the most part a dance floor release. The tripped out, acid-flecked grooves of "Transitory Moments" and "North of the Sun" capture the spirit of early morning raving. "Lowrider" adds some rolling break beats to this bugged out style. Voigtmann goes deeper for "Abundance", which resounds to a pulsating bass and punchy drums, while the vocal sample heavy "Figures Of Eight" is a more stripped back affair. It's not all club tracks though. On "Send Love To The Future" and "Headlong", Voigtmann shows that he is also adept at crafting smoky, post-club tracks.
