Praful - Sun on Your Wings (2024) [Hi-Res]

Sun on your Wings is positive, uplifting and heartfelt. The songs were inspired by nature and inter-human relations, and connect us with the Elements, with the heartbeat of mother Earth. A collection of short and longer pieces, some instrumental, some vocal, sung in English, Spanish and spontaneously channelled languages. Praful draws inspiration from indigenous folk music, South-American, African and European styles, and sacred ceremonies like Cacao. “Look up. A breeze is stirring. Feel the sun on your wings.” With these words ends a message from the indigenous grandmothers (exact authors unknown), inviting us to be less hard on ourselves, to go more lightly and open up to a new era. Reminding us of the importance of the feminine principle, a more yin way of living, less goal oriented and calling us to rest and rejoice in our place in the whole. Music as medicine for the heart.
