We continue this gentle start to the year with a most refined musical discovery called Ana Gelali. Born in Brazil, the artist grew up in Los Angeles and has built an incredible musical background in order to open up to us in the most beautiful way. The time has come for her to present herself in music with her first EP called Toyland.

In six tracks, Ana Gelali succeeds in combining synthpop and psychedelic dream-pop for this bewitching cinematic journey. It succeeds in revealing itself to us from the first notes of “Take It Slow” where we see multiple landscapes passing before our ears while the comforting melodies of “High Alert” and “No Tomorrow” will end up lulling us. With Toyland, the artist has this gift of touching us by shamelessly opening the doors of her past in order to provide answers to the existential questions that follow her on “Man On A Mission” and on “Glow” which close this EP Carefully.
