Siglo XX is a band originally from Belgium, the province of Limburg, playing dark and depressive music in the style of post-punk and Joy Division of the early 80s.

The band's name, Siglo XX, comes from the anarchist movement during the Spanish Civil War.
The debut album The Art of War, released in 1982, brought the group a small but very loyal success, which remained throughout the 80s.
