After Chittlin Circuit in 2016 and The Soul Jazz Rebels in 2019, albums marked with an infallible Soul/Jazz/Blues imprint, it is an unusual adventure to board the new Soul Jazz Rebels train for a trip to beyond the borders of this music! Jubilation could have been the title of this new album (if this title was not already taken) as the original compositions and arrangements of the group reveal an exaltation and an exciting playing in all the stations of this new circuit: Jean Vernheres on sax tenor, Cyril Amourette on guitar, Hervé Saint-Guirons on Hammond organ and Ton Ton Salut on drums, not one of these musicians is leader of this eight-year-old but already iconic group!
