Norwegian-Iranian Marie Sahba is an exciting artist who seamlessly blends her cultural heritage with modern electronic music. Her debut album 'A Billion Years Too Soon' will be released on February 16th. Together with musician and producer Martin Vinje, known for his work with Sigrid, she has created a unique musical universe of melancholy, traditional instruments, beautiful melodies, and atmospheric synths firmly rooted in a danceable club landscape. The personal lyrics, in both English and Azeri, spoken in northern Iran, tell the story of her roots, loss, and the ups and downs of life.
