Blunt Chunks is the solo project of Caitlin Woelfle-O’Brien, born out of a curiosity and desperation for exploring the endless world of sound and song. Combining pop sensibility, ambient tones and vocal layering, her songs have been described as: music to keep close to your heart, hypnotic, honest and vulnerable. As Blunt Chunks, Caitlin has played many shows in Toronto/Montreal/Hamilton and more over the past 6 years, appearing on bills and/or backup singing alongside artists such as Charlotte Day Wilson, Lido Pimienta, Ivy Mairi, Julianna Barwick and Nick Hakim. This year she was featured as a vocalist on Toronto band Jaunt's critically acclaimed EP, Cue, released April 2018.
