Ulrich Tukur's twelfth studio album is "Es leuchten die Sterne". Nine years after "Let's Misbehave", the actor and singer is finally releasing new music with his Rhythmus Boys, also known as "the oldest boy band in the world". Swinging rhythms, a firework of the most beautiful melodies, played by four fabulous musicians.

Art, like music, is about enchantment. And looking at the stars has always had something soothing and mysterious about it, says Ulrich Tukur. With his Rhythmus Boys, he enters the world of nocturnal strollers and brazen night owls, of dark fantasies and longing hearts, full of esprit. Above all, however, the four highly charming gentlemen once again pay homage to the popular music of the 1930s to 1950s with great passion. Their new album "Es leuchten die Sterne" ("The stars are shining") brings together hits, swing and jazz from the USA, Germany, Italy and France. Interpreted in a free-spirited, casual and elegant manner

In Charles Trenet's chanson Le soleil et la lune, Ulrich Tukur & Die Rhythmus Boys tell of the impossible love between the moon and the sun with dancing lightness. Wet poetry takes us into the big city at night with expressionist intensity. And the ballroom classic Tuxedo Junction sounds wonderfully casual in the Boys version. Just like in the number Music, Maestro, Please, the trumpet of Till Brönner sounds with narrative coolness. The star musician learned to love the sound of the Rhythm Boys when Tukur and his wife Katharina John hosted salons at their home in Schöneberg. Illustrious gatherings with personalities such as Eva Mattes, Angela Winkler, Volker Schlöndorff and Ben Becker. I love the old salon culture. Reciting a poem, giving a speech, making music.]
