Alternative, emo, indie rock, DOWNT continues to spread across genre boundaries with a presence that no longer needs categorization. The 1st full album will finally be released in 2024! After energetic live activities and co-stars with overseas artists, the world standard band sound is now here, further deepening and updating the innovation shown in the masterpiece "13 Months"!

Since their formation in 2021, downt has been active mainly in the Tokyo live scene, and has quickly become a center of attention in the emo and alternative live house scene. The release of “SAKANA e.p.”, appearance at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '22 “ROOKIE A GO-GO”, worldwide release of compilation record “Anthology” from UK label Dog Knights (sold out immediately), etc. The year 2022 resonated everywhere. They also appeared on large-scale circuits such as SYNCHRONICITY and MINAMI WHEEL, performed with many overseas artists such as Gestalt Otome (Taiwan), Grrrl Gang (Indonesia), Pswingset (US), and deathcrash (UK), and showed new ideas as a band. 2023 marks the release of the masterpiece “13 Months” and further expansion of its activities. Their long-awaited full album, which has steadily risen to the stage over the years, will finally be released in March 2024.

In addition to the 8-minute blockbuster single ``13gatsu,'' which gave us a sense of a new direction and a certain premonition for a band that hides ephemerality and unshakable power, the new work includes a new album of the band heading into the future. Contains new songs that show off the stage. In addition, songs that have already become standard live performances, such as "111511," "mizu ni naru," and "AM4:50" from their debut album "downt", will be newly recorded and included. DOWNT has rapidly increased their presence in the scene through energetic live activities throughout 2023 and collaborations with numerous overseas artists. With the band's first long-awaited full-length album, they will make an impact on the music scene in Japan and around the world!
