Now that's What I call Andy's Derivative 70's Fun in No 1 (Album) is a English album released on 14 Feb 2024. This album is composed by Richard Johnson. Album has 8 songs sung by Sophie Hiller, Andy Wood Mitchell.

British muso and sometime Abbey Road studio engineer ANDY WOOD MITCHELL is a man of many parts and guises. He releases quirky albums under his own name – things like ‘Merlin’s Bones’ (a soundtrack to his Youtube film “The Horticulturalist”). His most recent project was “Andy and his Big Funksters” whose current offering is ‘Funksploitation’ and now hot that one’s heels, he’s releasing ‘Andy’s Now that’s what I call Andy’s derivative Seventies fun in No 1 album’.

The set was recorded at Abbey Road and features a selection of Andy’s music that was (we’re told) “recorded in previous guises by laconic , some say obnoxious frontman Andy Wood Mitchell”

The lead single is a big, brash and brassy ‘Independent Street’ which has musical and production involvement from Ernie McKone – so there’s a Brit soul thing going on in places!
