Australian Blues band “Moody Smith & The Speculators” formed in early 2019, and is a Sydney-based 4-piece group who’s albums continue to satisfy their growing number of loyal enthusiasts who prefer their blues raw and unembelished with more than a hint of mischief and bad behaviour.

The band draws from iconic influences, including Son House, Furry Lewis, R.L Burnside and Howling Wolf.

“Moody Smith & The Speculators” goals are simply to remain unpretentious, respectful humble servants of the traditions of The Blues and carry on the legacy of the true masters of the genre who have gone before them.

In conjunction with their recorded music, ‘Moody Smith & The Speculators’ videos continue to draw attention for their sometimes offbeat nature hitching modern-day characters and situations with old-style Blues themes and lyrics.
