In the title track MUSIC, I LOVE YOU, Swedish jazz stands in a crossroads, waving, when the Fleshquartet’s spirit suddenly crashes with a big band ensemble. On his new album MUSIC, I LOVE YOU!, the composer Elliot Elliot has tailor-made a partly new suit compared to the previous sound blast Nature for President (2019). Now, he lets the Elliot-ish jazz tones get more room. Still, you recognize the bold jumps between styles and moods, the beautiful melodies that are explored back and forth, and above all, his love for music!
