Will Page - Still Standing (2024)

This album has taken me back to my roots! I really enjoyed leaning into my early years experience in more traditional folk music with the instrumentation, playing style and arrangements. The concept of this album, ‘Still Standing’ came from reflecting on all of the many external changes which I’ve navigated in recent years in both my personal and professional lives. Change is constant and inevitable, and we have to roll with the punches, hence the title! This record has been a joy to produce, and has far surpassed my expectations, especially collaborating with none other than the supremely talented Cormac Byrne (bodhrán and percussionist) and legendary Steve Knightley (Show Of Hands)! Also thanks to producer Al for providing a wonderfully relaxed, accommodating and professional recording experience at his studio (Doz Studios) in the rolling hills of the Kent countryside. As always, I would like to thank my friends and family for their amazing support! I hope that this record will inspire you to get up and go!
