After four long years we’re happy to welcome back Yumi Iwaki, one of Tokyo’s finest sound artist. She describes Spin a Tale as an attempt to create a musical diary, each song representing a short story. It’s a very personal album and every song feels like a chapter of Iwaki’s journey giving us an intimate look into the artist’s inspiration. Gentle melodies evoke a feeling of nostalgic reflection of past days.
