Hymns are timeless not for just the melodies, but for the message has always stayed the same - the Gospel. Most hymns we know today we’re written out of hard times that the songwriter endured. Being raised in the heart of the South, you didn’t have to travel too far to find quality Gospel and Convention style singing. My passion for music has always been rooted in the hymns of the faith. That’s what I cut my teeth on every Sunday growing up as a child listening to the congregation lift their praises unto the Lord. Having recorded two mainline full-production albums thus far into my 8 years of full time road ministry, I felt it was time to sit back and pay homage to what got me to where I am today. I pray that this easy listening album will fill your home and car with not only the warmth of a familiar tune, but truly be felt within as I present my arrangements of “Hymns from the Heart”.
