Kiel, Germany's Kombynat Robotron drop their third release on Drone Rock records, representing an even further expedition into kosmisch kakophany, with fuzzy clouds of guitar and slamming motorik rhythms designed for exploring the outer reaches. Expansive and cavernous, it sounds at times like the band are playing in one of the disused factories of post-war west Berlin, and channels the inimitable energy of Krautrock's golden era without sounding derivative or staid.
