White Wolf is their 5th studio album and their most experimental release to date. It combines the raw vocals, story-telling, and visionary rhythmic approach of their frontman Stepan Honc; the distinctive Scottish fiddling and virtuosic improvisation of Duncan Menzies (Copper Viper); the unparalleled speed, accuracy and energy of their whistler and recorder player, Paya Lehane; layers of psychedelic chants and animalistic didgeridoo by Mexican shaman and sound-healer, Rubén Yon’Ton (Terra Cosmica); and the uncompromising impact of their new drummer Kaya La-Bonté Hurst.

Probably the most significant additions to their sound are Rubén’s shamanic chants and Kaya’s sharp, impactful playing style on the drum kit, enriching their love for traditional folk instrumentation and celtic melodies with powerful new dimensions of psychedelic folk rock.

The music of PerKelt has always aimed to reach deep inside our soul to make us dance, laugh and love, and their latest release is no exception, but where previous albums told stories from the realm of magic, nature and folklore, White Wolf seeks to manifest light in the world as we know it: ‘it’s an album which tries to consciously bring to the world the best in each of us’, says frontman Stepan Honc.

Their cover artwork depicts a white wolf, like a symbol of light, emerging from the darkest night.
