Maya Blandy - Stardust (2024) [Hi-Res]

JMJ Recordings bring you the debut album from the Portuguese/British singer Maya Blandy called STARDUST.It is a journey through Soul Jazz and disco which make up the three key musical genres that are the inspiration for Maya's first album.

The album, produced by Jake Wherry (The Herbaliser) features USA Disco legend Kathy Brown, Canadian rapper Muneshine and features some of the UK's finest session players including Adam Phillips (Tina Turner, Richard Ashcroft, Britney Spears) Trevor Mires (Incognito, Sir Tom Jones, Jamiroquai) Patrick Dawes (Groove Armada) and award winning trumpeter Ryan Quigley (John Scofield, Joe Lovano)


Since releasing her first single Stardust in 2023, Maya has made regular appearances on BBC 6, BBC Introducing, Soho Radio as well as European Radio play on Antenna 1, Antenna 3 and Radio Oxigenio in Portugal.

Live shows to date have taken her across the UK and her European tour in Summer 2024 includes Lisbon and her native Madeira.
