He made a real initiation journey, band after band, way back into history of american music, wich leaded him naturally back to the roots of the Blues. More recently, he had to accomplish another kind of journey, inside himself, back to the roots of his own existence, and today, he shares it with you, through his music, his story, your story… In 2008, Thankful was a kind of a transition album, and the sign for his comeback on stage. Love & Light, his third album comin' out on the first day of 2011, reveals the brand new man Magic Buck has become after all these years. Today, Buck is more than ever present, living his passion from day to day, sharing Love and Light with everyone of us along those thirteen brand new songs during 64 minutes ! Sharing is really the meaning of this opus, as he does it with friends Manuto (Weissenborn lap-steel guitar), Mike Greene (mandolin, accordion & vocals) and Tony Zombi (banjo) from bluegrass band Chainsaw Billies.
Still standin' alone on stage, ith three guitars & harp-holder, as a heir to his famous mentors, he keeps on singing his own blues sittin' on his famous «Stompstool», an instrument he designed himself, a foostool with a tambourine inside on which he stomps the rythm with his boots. That makes him a true Blues Bootstomper ! Sounds like a whole band together, with no machines, only wood, steel, leather, sweat, tears, but more than ever, happiness…
