The album was inspired by a small bridge in Wayne County, West Virgina that is the epicenter of Martha’s musical heritage. This bridge now figuratively spans to Texas and Oklahoma then Nashville and now across the Atlantic, where Martha has built quite a following on her Americana voyage. 10 original songs + 1 traditional - across the Americana spectrum, ranging from classic country twang, bluegrass, country blues, folk = another standout musical trip thru American roots music. Recorded in France with her touring and studio band, these hotshot pickers, at the top of their game, have wowed audiences across Europe for the last 10 years.
